About Us

| What's the deal?

Worst Case Scenario began in the Spring of 2010. Each month, Worst Case Scenario uses a different theme and puts up a brand new hour-long, improvised show. Worst Case Scenario performs with many of Milwaukee’s talented performers. With countless guests adding their own unique flair to each monthly theme — shows are always a truly collaborative process.

Cast

| Who is responsible for this?

Alex Grindeland

Alex is an improviser, actor, stand-up comedian, teacher and daily-shower-taker.  In addition to his bedlam with Worst Case Scenario, he regularly performs with ComedySportz, Meanwhile, and Al and Jim’s One Man Show.  Alex has performed his sharp-witted, yet playfully sophomoric, stand-up routine at the Comedy Café, The Milwaukee Comedy Festival, Giggles Comedy Pub, and in front of his mirror at home.  If you have any further questions, buy him a Seven-and-Seven and he’ll gladly give you too much information.

David Lane

David is smarter than you, funnier than you, and probably fatter than you. He does all of these things on purpose. He’s also worked at ComedySportz for 7 years now; doing any manner of thing that needs to be done, not on purpose. He did this not on purpose, on purpose.

Greg Bach

Greg Bach is an actor, writer, director and musician. Along with Worst Case Scenario, Greg performs at ComedySportz in Milwaukee and is a member of the acoustic trio The Beautiful Red Accordion, which performs around Southeastern Wisconsin. As Co-Founder and Co-Director of the Turf Theater, Greg oversees the operations of their educational program, but contrary to popular belief, he is not the Mayor of Racine.

Kesan Holt

Kesan is an actor/comedian/improvisor/musician from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He has been a part of the ComedySportz Milwaukee main company since 2005, and since then has performed countless shows across the United States. He also leads the Kidz Camp there in the Summer, teaches workshops through the UW College system, theatre for multiple charter schools in the Milwaukee area, and assists with the UW-Milwaukee Theatre games classes. He also performs under his hip hop alter ego ColorMeDead on and off in between acting and improvising.

Mary Baird

Mary Baird is the Producer for WCS. She was raised surrounded by creative people in an entertainment household, and has been working professionally in the entertainment industry for over 8 years. She began Stage Managing as a teenager, and later, as a professional with Greendale Community Theatre. She has been working at ComedySportz for over 5 years, running kidz camps, workshops, the ComedySportz offices, promotions and calendar, and of course, performing her specialty—keeping Comedians focused. (Which, as it turns out, is like trying to cage a Unicorn…)

Ryan Spiering

Ryan Spiering is a handsome 20 something who spends some time doing stuff almost every day!  Ryan graduated in 2007 with a BA in Theater from UWM’s Peck School of the Arts.  When Ryan is not performing he spends his time working as a graphic designer and 3d animator for HGA Architects and Engineers. Ryan lives in Wauwatosa, WI with his wife Sadie and their imaginary pet Doogle, he’s like a mix between an ape and a snapping turtle.
